Eligible Risk Classifications
The following classes are eligible for the program classifications. All properties must be well maintained and the housekeeping must be good.

Offices: tenant occupied lessors risk only.
Retail: includes strip malls (not enclosed) lessors risk only.
Warehouses/Distribution Centers, LRO only (no storage of hazardous commodities.

Apartments: above average apartment buildings/complexes
Condominiums: superior condominiums occupied as residences, offices or mercantile establishments.
Cooperatives: same as condominiums
Homeowners' Associations (HOA) and Planned Unit Developments (PUD)

If the insured building contains a restaurant, the following criteria must be met:

  • The restaurant portion of the building must meet all building safety codes
  • The restaurant must have an automatic extinguishing system, which meets the National Fire Protection Association's standard

Unacceptable Risk Classification
The following risk classifications are unacceptable for the program. Company approval must be received for any and all exceptions to "Eligible Risk Classifications":

Manufacturers, Construction Companies, New Construction Operations, Recreation Activities (other than a pool, health club, tennis or golf), Nightclubs, Bars, Day Care Operations, Low Income Housing, Senior Housing (Including Nursing Homes & Assisted Living Facilities)

The following is required for quotation and binding purposes:

Acord Applications (Applicant Information and Umbrella Sections)
Schedule of Locations (Spreadsheet format required)
Schedule of Named Insureds
Supplemental Application Format
3-5 Years currently valued loss runs for all liability lines
All underlying carriers must be Best A-VI or better - Proof Required
